Tiger Brands certified ‘Top Employer’ – 8th year running

| Awards and achievements

Tiger Brands has been named a Top Employer in South Africa for the eighth consecutive year by the Top Employers Institute.

The Top Employers Institute offers a global certification programme that allows organisations to assess and improve their people practices and processes and recognises excellence in these areas.

“This recognition and certification is an important gauge of where we are delivering on our focused people agenda which is geared to ignite leading-edge performance and innovation across our business. It also gives us the necessary focus to keep doing better.”

“The result is a credit to our relentless focus on improving the experience and engagement of every single one of our people. Year after year we get closer to achieving our goal of creating a future fit Tiger Brands where our people perform, grow, innovate and thrive as they work to achieve our shared purpose of nourishing and nurturing more lives every day,” says S’ne Magagula, Chief Human Resources Officer, Tiger Brands.

The Top Employers Institute certification programme assesses organisations across six Human Resources focus areas - Steer, Shape, Attract, Develop, Engage and Unite, each containing assessment themes. Of the assessment themes, Tiger Brands achieved its greatest improvement on the previous year in the areas of Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Employee Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion and Digital HR.

“Our focus for this new year is to build on what we have achieved and to course correct where needed so that we grow further as an employer of choice, a workplace that many more people aspire to call their home and where their careers take flight,” says Magagula.
